Feeling more than grateful to be 36 weeks pregnant BUT the side effects of 3rd trimester symptoms have really kicked in at this point. It’s true, everything everyone said is true. I’m not the exception, it’s all happening. The swollen feet, swollen hands, back pain, hip discomfort, shortness of breath, challenge of bending over to put on shoes, sleepless nights, it has all become my reality. 

Growing a human is amazing and all the side effects are worth it. However, I wouldn’t be real if I said it was all peaches and cream. Us women go through so much during this process, all while still having to work full-time and be a wife at home. I’m lucky to have a husband who helps out with pretty much anything I request, but it’s still tough.

Glad I listened to the advice of others and made sure to have the nursery set up in the 2nd trimester. I couldn’t imagine putting in all the time and energy at this stage. Happy to say our home is ready for her arrival. Counting down the days to meet Giuliana Marie. 27 days until my due date. It’s all so close now 🎀
